Mercedes AMG GT3-car profile

The KRT AMG F10 ranks among the fastest and most innovative sports prototypes ever built. The car traces its roots to the Acura ARX 01c that scored an historic class win in its debut in the 12 Hours of Sebring and went on to score several overall wins in the American Le Mans Series against the more powerful and (theoretically) faster LMP1 competition.

The KRT AMG F10 chassis features a carbon-fiber monocoque designed and built by Okami Systems Engineering, with push-rod, double wishbone suspension, front and rear, and is equipped with six piston, aluminum caliper brakes with carbon discs. The car is powered by an AMG Performance 3.4 liter V8 at ACO specs, which produces approximately 480 horsepower transmitted through a semi-automatic six speed gearbox. Coupled with the substantial downforce generated by an assortment of wings, flaps and tunnels, the KRT AMG F10 is as nimble as it is powerful and, with the aid of traction control, equally proficient under acceleration and braking. In short, the KRT AMG F10 is the very definition of the modern sports prototype

With a lineage hearkening back to the SLS AMG GT3 and more than 180 wins in international competition from Bathurst and Dubai to Spa and the Nürburgring, the Mercedes AMG GT3 is a potent addition to the GT3 category. While styling cues like its gullwing doors and Panamericana radiator grille pay homage to Mercedes’ glorious history, the Mercedes AMG GT3 epitomizes state-of-the-art technology with its “front mid-engine” 6.2 liter, DOHC V8 and six speed sequential gearbox mounted in a transaxle to provide optimum weight distribution. Aluminum, double wishbone suspension, multi-disc, limited-slip differential and traction control complete a package
